In response to Tin Man's request for JMT info:

We resupplied at the Muir Trail Ranch during our 2003 JMT thru hike.  They
were very accommodating - provided the use of a picnic table, let us store
food overnight in a bear box (we camped nearby).  The info on shipping

At Red's Meadow, the shuttle takes about 20-30 minutes up to the ski area,
and it runs frequently.
