I met Scott at Warner Springs in 2005 and we talked a bit while I wolfed 
down lunch. A nicer, more humble
person I doubt I will ever meet. What a cheap, unfounded and misguided 
shot to take at someone who has shown
his TRUE love of the trail. Shame.

Don't let the haters get you down, Scott. It's so very easy for them to 
type a few snarky remarks.
