[pct-l] Down bootie advise?

Not quite a PCT question for my purpose but I thought someone here might have experience I need.

I'm looking for something to keep my feet warm while I'm cabin bound this winter.
Occasionally I will need to step in very shallow puddles and a little (very little) snow.

Would be nice if they could double as a camp shoe creature comfort for short backpack trips.

These will hopefully help me conserve on the world's energy and my own bank account by keeping my heat turned down.
