Count on bugs till August and rain till after mid-July.

Most of the trails will be snow free by mid-July, but you'll be able to get 
thru earlier, except that we are having a major snow year in northern Oregon 
so far, so that may change. It's entirely possible to have 6 ft of snow on 
the trail on Mt Hood until the end of June in a bad year.
