As much as I condemn using noise canceling devises on the trail, I'd love to use them in town. Invariably, when you go into town these days after soaking up the peaceful trail environment for days, you're met with some punk rolling down the street pounding his c-rap drums from his car speakers. This causes me to instantly revert to "kill the faggot rapper" mode. Now, if only I could put some noise-cancelling headphones on as I approach town and take them off when I get back on the trail, that would really make for a peaceful hike.

I am sorry to report I had them on and did not hear about or read those
responses.
Also, for some reason they seem to work with my wife's particular voice
frequency. I cannot hear her when I have them on. It's like looking at someone
very excited in an old silent movie.
Thank you for your attention.
