[pct-l] Marble Mountains and Sec Q PCT is now OPEN!!!

PCT Hikers!,
A letter signed and released 8/15/2006 by the Forest Sup of the Klamath NF 
has reopened the the Marble Mountains Wilderness and the PCT. There are some 
trails closed in the areas of fires, all west of the PCT, and there will be 
some drift smoke over the trail for the near future. However, you no longer 
have to be stealthy or sneaky to see or thruhike the Marbles. All campfires 
are banned in the Klamath NF wilderness areas, so be careful out there, 
Smokey is watching from the air. Have a great hike!

One humerous side note, the letter stated the Pacific Coast Trail is now 
open in the Marble Mountain Wilderness....This is just a glimpse of the 
current local politico disconnect mindset, etc..
