[pct-l] BURN BANS IN WASHINGTON

Up around Skykomish there is a burn ban for all fires UNLESS they are in a metal firepit in a regulated Forest Service campground or on private property. Nothing out on the PCT or anywhere close is legal at this time. This will probably go through Sept of '06. This happens most years up here. Hopefully one house fire is all we will have this year.....actually forever. Please don't build a campfire when you stop for the night. The house you save may be mine !!!
