In 2004 I came across a smoldering campfire around 10am in the
morning in
the middle of the Rainbow Falls burn area just south of Red's Meadow.
There was a creek just 10 or 15 feet away and it took 5-6 liters of
water to put the coals out.

Crazy that someone could be so oblivious in an area that was so recently
the site of a large fire.
