Gutsy and Scott were in Snoqualmie Pass at the same time.  After looking at his infected toe she gave him some antibiotic salve and suggested that he rest a couple of days to let it begin to heal.  He reluctantly did that, but was very discouraged about the lost mileage.  The threat of rain and her sore feet kept her in town another night, too.  
 
Gutsy's section hike began with scorching hot weather in central OR.  Now it's downright chilly overnight in central WA.

If you want a copy just let me know. I also saw Gutsy a day latter she looked great. Then came the Killer Bee's I met in OR last year. Then to my surprise Charley Jones came alone who was doing slack packing. It's a small world. I was with the Old Geezer.  I just don't understand it. Scott does 45 miles a day Gutsy 25 and them me lucky to get 12. Maybe it's my age.
