[pct-l] Hiking the PCT from US 50 North To I-80

Hi fellow backpackers,

I just signed up for the list serv and I have always wanted to hike this 
strech of the trail but I have no idea how long a hike like this would take. 
  The longest backpack trip I have ever done is 3 days and this strech of 
trail is just close enough to friends and family that I feel will be good 
for getting my feet wet.

So does anyone have a ballpark feel for how long this would take
